Parkinson Disease Across the Lifespan: A Roadmap for Nurses

This free online course was developed by the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA), the National Parkinson Foundation (NPF), and the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation (PDF).

This course is designed for:

  • Nurses in long-term care, acute care, recent nursing graduates or other nurses who want to improve the care they give to Parkinson’s patients.
  • The course is available online 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at no charge.
  • Participants can earn 7.5 CEU credits from the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses.

Parkinson’s Disease: A Practical Approach to Evaluation & Treatment for the Physical Therapist

  • This educational symposium and webcast program was developed by the Parkinson Disease Foundation (PDF) the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA), the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and the Visiting Nurse Service New York (VNSNY).
  • This course is designed for PTs delivering care to people living with Parkinson’s and families in all clinical settings.
  • The program will take place in New York City on Friday, April 20, 2012 for a charge of $50. It will also be webcast, for free, on the day of the event and afterward for up to one year.
  • The APTA will sponsor education credits of 0.8 CEUs for this event.
